Updated Policy for Procedures
At Northtown Guardian Pet Hospital, we always strive to serve our clients and patients to the best of our ability. We are implementing an updated policy to address the increasing number of missed or canceled dental and specialty procedures. This policy has been established to provide all our patients the high level of veterinary care and client service that you have come to know and trust.
Effective January 2, 2023, Northtown Guardian Pet Hospital will require a non-refundable deposit of $500 when you schedule dental, surgical, or diagnostic services.
All deposits will be placed as a credit on your account and used toward the scheduled appointment. If that appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 48-hour notice, your deposit amount will be applied as a missed appointment fee. Refunds will not be given if the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.
By providing us with a 48-hour notice of a cancellation, we will be able to accommodate other patients that may have been waiting for weeks or months to get an appointment.
Emergencies
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate by appointment only. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays may occur. We make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
Drop-off Appointments
For your convenience, drop-off appointments may be available. A drop-off means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments Once the doctor is done, they will give you a call to go over their recommendations.
Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, debit cards, personal checks cash, or CareCredit
