Northtown Animal Hospital is a contributor to the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine’s Companion Animal Memorial Program.
We understand that losing a beloved pet is a huge loss for anyone with an animal companion. We make a memorial donation to this fund in the name of every pet who, as a last resort, is euthanized at our hospital.
Through this program, we honor our pets and also help fund non-invasive research into therapies for companion animal diseases and disorders. Last year memorial contributions exceeded $280,000 and honored nearly 30,000 animal companions.
Northtown Animal Hospital contributes to the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) Veterinary Care Charitable Fund. Through this fund, we are able to help animals rescued from abuse and neglect and the pets of patients facing personal hardships.
We encourage our patients to help support our charitable work with a donation. A contribution from you, no matter the amount, will make a big difference in the life of a sick, injured or abused animal.
Your tax-deductible donation helps:
- Animal victims of abuse or neglect
- Injured or abandoned animals found by Good Samaritans
- Elderly clients needing limited assistance for pet care
- Disabled veterans in need of care for their service dog
- Pet owners facing medical or financial hardships
